Mimosa & Geoff's Wedding at Costanoa Lodge Pescadero, CA

When I think about what it means to host a true wedding weekend, Mimosa and Geoff's celebration at Costanoa Lodge is what comes to mind. Nestled between the rolling hills and the rugged California coast in Pescadero, Costanoa was the perfect setting for their relaxed, joyful, and unforgettable celebration.

As their wedding coordinator, I was brought on to manage the full weekend and it was such a dream. With every guest staying on-site, we had the rare opportunity to create a multi-day wedding experience that felt immersive, intentional and connected. From the welcome party to the late-night dance floor, every moment was full of energy, meaning, and joy.

Weekend Highlights at Costanoa Lodge

We kicked off the morning of the wedding day with a group swim down at the beach, an energizing and unforgettable start. Afterward, guests were greeted with a breakfast burrito food truck that set the tone for the rest of the day: fun, casual, and full of thoughtful hospitality. The night before, we hosted a lively welcome party featuring the incredible Mission Delirium, whose vibrant brass band energy got everyone in the celebration spirit.

The Wedding Day

On Saturday, guests gathered at the coastal mountain range and ocean bluff for an outdoor ceremony.The ceremony began with a joyful and personal procession of children walking down the aisle, shaking musical instruments and adding a lively, heartfelt touch to the moment. Their vows, their smiles, and the warmth they radiated made for such a special moment. To keep everyone comfortable by the coast, we set up a beautifully styled tent that offered shelter from the wind without taking away from the natural surroundings.

Under the tent the reception transformed into a festive, music-filled scene. Dinner and dancing were accompanied by the soulful sounds of Jimmy Duvet and the Comforters, and the party kept going with an epic late-night set from DJ Culture Club. It was the kind of night you never want to end.

Personal Touches

One of my favorite things about this weekend was how much intention went into every part of the experience. Mimosa and Geoff wanted their guests to feel included, relaxed, and truly part of the celebration. That sense of togetherness came through in everything, from the laid-back morning swim to the music choices to the thoughtful flow of the day.
